Apparatus lets you build helpers for your iPhone. Helpers are simple groups of instructions your iPhone can perform for you, at your command.
Here’s an example:
Every morning when you arrive at work, you would like to record the time you start working in your calendar. You might also want to fire off a tweet that says I’m back at the grindstone listening to this song _____.
Its easy with Apparatus! Just create a helper with two actions: a calendar action and a twitter action. You can even instruct your helper to automatically run when you launch Apparatus in the morning on weekdays.
Apparatus can: post to Twitter, Facebook, Blogger, and your iPhone calendar. It can help you send email and SMS’s, dial a phone number, play a song, open a webpage, and vibrate.
Rules can be based on: your current location, the time of day, the day of the week, the day of the month, a range of days, or the status of your iPod app.
With Apparatus you can easily add your current location and the name of the current playing song to your tweets, posts, calendar events, email, and SMS messages.
Apparatus is the tool you’ve probably been waiting for. :-)
