iSub is an iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad client for the popular open source Subsonic music streaming software (subsonic.org) and is also compatible with the new Ubuntu One Mobile Music service (one.ubuntu.com/mobile). Stream your personal music collection from your home computer to your device regardless of format. The Subsonic software will automatically transcode most file formats, and can even lower the bitrate to save bandwidth (note: not supported by Ubuntu One Mobile at this time). Now you can have your entire music collection available at your fingertips, no matter how large, complete with album art and track information. You can even skip within tracks while they stream.
Also, Subsonic has an awesome web interface for sharing your music with family and friends. Even use it to listen to all your music at work!

☆ Please note: iSub does not yet support the video playback that was just introduced in the latest version of Subsonic. Support in iSub is being actively worked on but requires changes to be made in Subsonic before this will be possible due to the specific video format required for iOS.

iSub Music Streamer is a client for the desktop application called Subsonic. More information about obtaining a Subsonic license is available on the Subsonic apps page: http://www.subsonic.org/pages/apps.jsp
I want to clear up some confusion tha some users have had. I am not the developer of Subsonic. Subsonic is developed by Sindre Mehus. I only develop a client for his software, we have no other connection.
iSub Music Streamer includes the open source libraries MGTwitterEngine and MGSplitView. Thank you to the "Legend" himself, Matt Gemmell, for making this code available for other developers to use.

Massive update to 3.0! Even more in store for the next update!
- Fixed many small (and not so small) bugs in the 3.0 release
- Now you can pick music folders to display in the Folders tab and even server shuffle different music folders!
- Save local playlists to your Subsonic server! Also can delete server playlists.
- Optimized 3G playback for better performance
- Added Scrobbling support for the latest Subsonic version with a settings option to choose how far into songs to scribble
- Disable rotation if you only want Portrait orientation
- Added variable speed scrubbing in the player (slide your finger down for more precision)
- Increased audio buffer size to enable native ALAC support, stream ALAC lossless files over Wifi without transcoding or cache them to playback on the go
