Muzik for iPhone and iPod touch is back! After several updates to the 2.x version of the software, I felt it was time to take it down, give it a bit of a hiatus and eventually breathe new life into the application.
Overview:
Muzik for iPhone and iPod Touch (and now iPad) was conceived as my own secret little alternative-player for the device. Styled according to plain, modern, minimalistic and text-driven guidelines, the app is a nice little piece of (functional) eye-candy for your devices with nearly all the features you expect to get in an app such as this.
How To Use:
Use Muzik as you would any Music application on iOS. Use the Music menu to choose and play Music, watch Videos, listen to Audiobooks and Podcasts.
Save your own Images for use with Artistik. They must be named the same as the artist you want it to appear behind. Example: "LADY GAGA.png" will appear behind any songs played by LADY GAGA in Muzik. However, if you're clever, the image can be whatever you want. Once done, drop them into Muzik via iTunes File Sharing and click "Check for New" under Images in Settings for the changes to take effect.
