SQUARE ENIX CHARACTERS MAIL allows you to purchase and download emoticons, pictures, and templates. All downloaded items can be used in new mail along with the pre-installed ones.

Purchased packages can be downloaded any number of times.

*This application may not run properly on second generation devices such as iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2nd. We recommend using this application on iPhone 3GS or above.

・Various emoticons, pictures, and templates from the DRAGON QUEST series have been added to the pre-installation items.
*Pre-installation items are the very first items saved. If you have already purchased the package, you can verify emoticons by flicking left, and pictures/templates by flicking up.
・The application icon has been changed.
・E-mails with images attached can now be sent and received freely.
・Images can now be embedded into an e-mail's body.
*If you have problems sending e-mails with image attachments using iPhone3G/iPod Touch, please reduce the number of image attachments or their size and then try again.
*If you are unable to send an e-mail with an image attachment over Wi-Fi, please note that the connection may be unstable due to the size of the data being sent. Please try sending again in a location with a good signal.
・An issue where HTML descriptors were displayed in e-mails sent to certain mobile phone numbers has been addressed.

■A Note for Customers Unable to Enter Text in an E-mail’s Body:
If you are unable to enter text in an e-mail’s body by tapping the entry area, please try the following methods:
1. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red “slide to power off” slider appears, power off the device, and then press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.

If restarting your device does not fix the issue, your device’s iOS software may not be up to date.
2. Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes installed and running on your computer. Connect your device to your computer, and select your device when it appears in iTunes under Devices. Then select the Summary tab, and click Check for Update.
